Da Vinci’s Code

Leonardo da Vinci is renowned for his works of art and architecture as well as his inventions and his study of human anatomy. Though many of his ideas were never published, Leonardo recorded his work in meticulously illustrated notebooks. For example, although he despised war, we know he worked as a military engineer, conceiving what were then state-of-the-art, deadly weapons. Discover more about this genius in an exhibition on the Praterinsel this month. “Leonardo da Vinci: Erfinder und Wissenschaftler” is open daily 10 am–8 pm until March 28. Aktionsforum Praterinsel, Praterinsel 3–4, Tel. 21 13 83 12. For more information see www.davinci-muenchen.de. <<<
