Here to stay for the holidays? If you start feeling a twinge of homesickness come Thanksgiving, no need to look too far for a taste of one of America’s biggest holidays. Here are a handful of places around town to help you celebrate on November 24 with all the turkey and pumpkin pie you could possibly eat:

Adjoining pubs Ned Kelly’s and Kilian’s (Frauenplatz 11) are both offering a Thanksgiving feast for € 18.50. The fun continues afterwards with the American band The Trisonics, playing at Kilian’s at 9 pm. Reservations are recommended, and are taken until 8 pm, Tel. 24 21 98 99.

Piazza Linda (Elisabethstrasse 12) will serve Thanksgiving dinner for € 25 per person, with guitarist Kevin Henderson providing the entertainment with hits from the 1950s to the 1980s. Reservations are recommended, Tel. 27 27 22 01.

At Cohen’s (Theresienstrasse 31), the banquet costs € 45 per person, including prosecco and Kürbisstrudel for dessert. Call Tel. 280 95 45 or e-mail contact@cohens.de to book.

Hard Rock Café (Platzl 1) will be rockin’ with a Thanksgiving set meal for € 16 at 6 pm, followed by music from The Erin Perry Band starting at 10 pm.

American sports bar Champions, and Grill 93, both inside the Marriott Hotel (Berlinerstrasse 93), will offer a Thanksgiving buffet, as well. The buffet at Champions costs € 29 and starts at 6 pm, while Grill 93’s buffet is € 35 and begins at 6:30 pm.
