Layers
In the past few years, technology has introduced huge changes to social interactions and media. In Munich, students at the study workshop of the Akademie der Bildenden Künste learn about how it will change the future of art. The students study multimedia creation, and experiment with their own productions. Gasteig will host an exhibition of their works—“Layers”—until April 1. Fifteen different student-artists display photographs, video installations, serial picture concepts, computer graphics, and more, representing a wide spectrum of current media art and suggesting new directions for the future. The exhibition is free and open daily 10 am until 10 pm.
