Streetlife Festival

The bustle of Leopoldstrasse and Ludwigstrasse will come to a halt when the Streetlife Festival takes over the central swath of Schwabing on June 7 and 8. The festival will fill the car-free avenue with new ideas on how to enhance living in Munich. The 500,000 expected visitors will find something on the program for every taste: Adrenaline junkies can give new trend-sports such as “Speedminton” or “Slackline” a try. Gourmets can stroll the “Regio-Dorf,” where local culinary delicacies are served up with a smile. Beekeepers will even produce honey on the spot. Further attractions include a climbing tower, a wellness oasis and a variety of stands will inform visitors on promising city projects. Meanwhile, a music stage at the Siegestor and many street artists will also provide revellers with continuous entertainment.
