Albert C. Humphrey and his band Backyard Blues will perform a tribute to the recently-deceased blues legend John Lee Hooker on Sunday, October 7 at 8:30 pm at the Schlachthof, Zenettistr. 9. Appearing as special guests will be Munich’s top blues musicians: Al Jones, Hubert Hofherr, Blues Harp Slim and Mano Maniak. In addition to what is sure to be one smooth jam session, audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle: win a trip to San Francisco—the hometown of John Lee Hooker—a guitar, a Washburn amplifier, weekend use of an Audi TT, one of 20 John Lee Hooker CDs and more.
