Auto Bond

Lookin’ for adventure? Then get your motor runnin’ and head out on the highway to the Olympiahalle on March 9 and 10. There, true classic car enthusiasts will get revved up about the tenth annual Classic Mobil exhibition—the largest swap meet in southern Germany—a presentation of classic cars and motorcycles. Visitors will also have the opportunity to swap or purchase spare parts and accessories. This year’s theme is the MINI, celebrating its fortieth anniversary. In addition to the main events, other activities will be offered. In the Classic Mobil Showroom, located in the Kleine Olympiahalle (small hall at the back of the Olympic Hall), potential purchasers may choose from 50 classic cars and motorcycles on sale there. Throughout the event, fashion shows in which garb from the 1920s to the 1950s will be presented, will enhance this trip down memory lane. On Sunday, a shuttle bus will take the car crazed to the press area, where a model car exhibition, AUTO 1:X, will enable kids to have fun in the Future-Drivers Club. Shift into gear on Saturday 8 am–6 pm and Sunday 9 am–5 pm. Tickets to Classic Mobil, the Showroom and AUTO 1:X for adults are € 12, children 10–16 years are € 5 and children under 10 years are free. A family ticket includes two adults and two children up to 16 years for € 24. For those who wish only to attend the AUTO 1:X, the entrance fee is € 4. Children under 10 years, accompanied by an adult, are free. For further information, visit www.classicmobil.de or email info@classicmobil.de.
