FRÄNKISCHE UND WESTFÄLISCHE WURSTSPEZIALITÄTEN CLASEN
Whether you go for the Holsteiner and Westphalian ham-on-the-bone, one of the various Sülzen, the Hamburger Leberwurst or the air-dried, hard, cured sausages, the treats on sale in this deli are not only of extremely high quality, but they’re also completely addictive. It’s definitely somewhere for those in the know!
Marienplatz 8, entrance Dienerstrasse , Phone: (089) 22 76 39

TERZI STAHLWAREN
This tiny little shop, which sits, somewhat unusually, among the souvenir shops in Orlandostrasse, near the Hofbräuhaus, is packed with knives and scissors of all kinds, whether you’re after something for cooking or otherwise. Frau Merkl, who runs the place, is extremely competent, and this is definitely the address in Munich for cutting-tool repairs and purchases.
Orlandostrasse 6, Phone: (089) 22 40 39

PUSSER’S NEW YORK BAR
This is a great bar if you’re looking to switch off on an evening after work, or equally if you’re looking for somewhere with live music to go to with friends at a weekend. The Deck family, who own the bar, and their staff are so friendly, you’ll definitely want to return. The atmosphere is authentic New York and the drinks are absolute classics.

KLINIKEN DR. MICHAEL SCHREIBER
If you happen to need a hospital, I’d recommend this small, private one, for its genuine and personal service. The manager is approachable and staff are happy to take note of individual wishes. All health insurance policies are accepted, and the clinic is very advanced in terms of the technology it offers.
