MOLLY MALONES
I go to this Irish pub whenever I’m in need of a great plate of fish and chips and a pint of Kilkenny’s. They’ve also got what is possibly the biggest selection of whiskies I’ve ever seen in Munich.

PUSSER’S BAR
This classic bar in the city centre
does excellent cocktails. There’s also
a relaxing piano bar downstairs which
is good for chilling out.

HAIDHAUSENER AUGUSTINER
I love this place on the corner of Bordeauxplatz for its beautiful old fashioned Munich décor with lots of wood. What’s more, there’s always a great atmosphere—and great beer, of course!

SAUSALITO’S
This is my favorite place to go if I’m in the mood for Mexican food. They’ve got a couple of branches in Munich, I think.
I can definitely recommend it.

MASTER’S HOME
I particularly like the interesting colonial décor in this bar. It’s also an excellent restaurant and although the food is not the cheapest in town, it’s certainly very good quality and really worth it.
Frauenstrasse 11, Phone: (089) 22 99 09

LIEBHARD’S BRÄUSTÜBERL
This spot in Aying is one of the nicest bierkellers I know. What’s more, the countryside around Aying is lovely for walks—if the weather’s good, you get some superb views of the Alps.
